When reliability is a must, the Aimpoint T2 is the standard. Mixed with a ANVL UKON 1.93'' mount, this combo gives the end user the premier heads up shooting option without by passing the ability to run back up iron sights. This setup is a phenomenal option for LEO's who are required to run back up irons, but also want the ability to run a taller mount. We often get asked why a taller mount is so much better than running an absolute or a lower 1/3 height mount. The short answer is that having a heads up shooting capability gives the shooter a much more comfortable experience and also aides in the amount of information they are able to process.
